To be successful in business as in any other thing in life there are some characters or traits that is required. Possession of these will determine how far you go in life. It is common to see people in the same business environment, all things being equal one person will be successful while others are not.

COURAGE; For you to be able to start anything you require courage. Courage is not the opposite of fear but the force that propels you to do something right and confidently. You must believe in yourself and your ideas before others can believe in you. It is your confidence that will convince others to believe and accept your ideas.

PASSION; This is the fuel that will drive your dream. You need to have passion and excitement about the things that you are doing your passion as a driving force creates ideas and brings solution to any problem, it gets you prepared for the challenges ahead. This trait puts you on top because you now become a solution to problems and this is what the world is looking for. Once you are in a position to solving other peoples problem, the sky then will be your limit. The passion about your business is nothing more than faith in action.

DISCIPLINE; To be successful you must ensure that you do what is right, the right way at the right time. Your success has little to do with speed but much to do with timing and your mind must be made to succeed.
You must not be in a hurry to engage in any activities that will undermine your effort and weaken your resolve. Only activities, places and people that reinforces your decision to succeed should be allowed to influence you.

RESILIENCE; Your success will be measured by your willingness to keep on trying. Your ability to repeatedly bounce back from set backs, shocks and failures will determine how far you go in life.
That you are not successful in a particular business does not mean you are a failure but you may not have applied sufficient effort. The person who wins or succeeds may have been counted out several times but he did not feel it. Peter Lowe said the most common trait I have found in all people who are successful is that they have conquered the temptation to give up’. Therefore rise up when you are knocked down.

BANDWAGON; Success is peace of mind, which is a direct result of knowing that you did your best to become the best you are capable of being. You must learn to follow your own mind and stand by the conviction of your heart. Do not do thing s because others are doing it , be sure it is worth doing, you must learn to stand out and be different. Great men in the stock market all over the world, buy shares when others are selling and most cases sell when other are buying. If you are focused you will know when to stand and when to run, those that follow the crowd in most cases get there fingers burnt.
